Sasquatch Eco Clean Residential Service Agreement
1. Definitions
- "Company" refers to Sasquatch Eco Clean, its employees, agents, and subcontractors.
- "Client" refers to the homeowner, tenant, or person requesting residential cleaning services from the Company.
- "Service" refers to the eco-friendly home cleaning tasks and duties performed by the Company as outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
2. Service Details
- Scope of Services: Sasquatch Eco Clean offers comprehensive residential cleaning services throughout Washington. Our eco-friendly services include interior window cleaning, generalized dusting, wall, door, and baseboard cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing kitchen and bathroom surfaces, and trash removal. Each Client receives a customized estimate detailing the specific cleaning services included. Cleaning services are limited to those outlined in the estimate.
- Frequency of Services: Cleaning services are available on both a one-time and a weekly (every 7 days), bi-weekly (every 14 days), or monthly (every 28 days) schedule, as mutually agreed upon by the Client and the Company. Rates may be adjusted based on the actual time elapsed between visits. For example, if more than 7 days pass between weekly visits, the Company reserves the right to charge at the bi-weekly rate.
- Special Requests: Additional cleaning services such as garage cleaning, window washing, or carpet cleaning must be agreed upon in writing and may incur extra charges.
3. Payment Terms
- Card on File: The Client is required to save a valid payment method on file with Sasquatch Eco Clean. This payment method must remain in good standing and have sufficient funds to cover all agreed-upon charges. The Client authorizes the Company to charge this payment method for any outstanding balance due for scheduled cleaning services upon completion of the appointment.
- Deposits: Once the Client approves their customized estimate for cleaning services, a deposit is required to reserve a service date. The Client must notify the Company at least 7 days prior to their appointment if they wish to reschedule or cancel; otherwise, any deposit paid may be forfeited and a new deposit may be required to reschedule the service appointment.
- Rates: The Client agrees to pay the rates indicated on the estimate for each completed service visit. Additional charges may apply for labor hours exceeding those estimated unless due to paid add-on services.
- Payment Schedule: Payment is due upon completion of each cleaning service visit unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, or electronic transfer (ACH).
- Late Payments: Payments not received within 24 hours after service completion may incur a late fee of $25. If payment is not received within this timeframe, additional late fees of $5 per day may apply until payment is made.
4. Pricing and Estimates
- Pricing: Prices are subject to change if surfaces are excessively dirty and require additional time. Estimates are approximations based on Client-provided information and may change after all project elements have been negotiated and finalized.
- Estimate Validity: Estimates are valid for 7 days from issuance, unless otherwise indicated in writing by the Company.
5. Expectations
- All areas should be free of clutter for maintenance cleans and completely empty for move-in/move-out cleans. Trash removal exceeding 25 lbs may incur an additional charge plus a minimum $75 dump fee. Certain stains and markings (rust, mildew, skid or ink marks, etc.) caused by hard water or lack of maintenance are not guaranteed for removal.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- Clients must provide at least 7 days' notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid forfeiting deposits. Failure to provide at least 48 hours' notice may result in being charged the full service amount. This policy ensures that our scheduling remains efficient and helps us maintain fair compensation for our team.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
- We do not offer refunds for services rendered. Instead, Sasquatch Eco Clean is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction through our re-cleaning policy. If dissatisfied with any aspect of our green cleaning services, the Client must notify the Company within 24 hours of service completion by contacting us at hello@sasquatchecoclean.com with high-quality pictures that detail the areas which need to be re-cleaned. Upon notification of dissatisfaction, the Company will re-clean the specified area(s) at no additional charge within 3 business days to ensure customer satisfaction. This approach allows us to uphold our high standards and rectify any concerns directly.
8. Liability and Insurance
- Insurance Coverage: The Company maintains general liability insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and is bonded to protect both parties during service delivery. This coverage ensures that any claims related to bodily injury or property damage arising from our cleaning services are addressed appropriately.
- Limitations of Liability: The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damages or unsecured items prior to cleaning. Clients should ensure that all valuable and fragile items are secured before service begins. Any damages resulting from these conditions are not covered by our insurance policies.
- Indemnification: The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sasquatch Eco Clean from any claims related to the services provided. This includes any issues arising from the Client's failure to comply with the terms outlined in this agreement.
- Photography for Records: Pictures taken during service are for records-keeping, accountability, and marketing purposes only. These images will not contain any confidential or personal information, ensuring client privacy is maintained.
9. Client Responsibilities
- Access to Premises: The Client must ensure access to the home during scheduled service times to facilitate efficient cleaning operations. If the Company is unable to access the premises within 30 minutes of arrival, the Company reserves the right to leave and charge the Client for the full amount of the agreed-upon service charge. This policy ensures that our team can maintain a timely schedule for all clients.
- Utilities and Heating/Cooling: The Client must provide necessary utilities, including water and electricity, for effective service delivery. Additionally, clients agree to allow our employees to adjust heating and cooling within reasonable terms (65°-75° Fahrenheit) to ensure a comfortable working environment.
- Securing Valuables: It is the Client's responsibility to secure all valuables and fragile items before service begins. The Company is not liable for any damages to unsecured items.
10. Pets and Bio-Hazards
- Pet Safety: Clients should secure pets in a safe area away from cleaning zones before our team arrives. The Company is not responsible for pets that escape before, during, or after service.
- Bio-Hazard Policy: The Company will not clean areas containing bio-hazards (e.g., bodily fluids) or pet waste unless previously agreed upon in writing. Such services should be reserved for certified professionals, and we can provide recommendations for trusted bio-hazard cleaning companies.
11. Photography and Marketing
- Photography for Records: Pictures taken during service are for records-keeping, accountability, and marketing purposes only. These images will not contain any confidential or personal information, ensuring client privacy is maintained.
12. Additional Charges
- Trash/Junk Removal: Any trash or junk removal exceeding 25 lbs is subject to an additional charge, including a minimum $75 dump fee.
- Surface Cleaning Limitations: Surfaces cleaned are limited to those reachable with our tools. Our cleaners will not climb higher than 6 feet on a step stool or ladder, ensuring safety standards are maintained.
13. Termination of Agreement
- Termination by Either Party: Either party may terminate this agreement with proper written notice if terms are breached or if either party wishes to discontinue services. Attempts to terminate after services have been completed, or without proper notice as outlined herein, may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid and potentially the full service charge.
- Notice Period: A notice period of 7 days prior to the scheduled cleaning appointment is required for the Client to terminate scheduled cleaning services without cause. The Company retains the right to reschedule services as necessary and will make all efforts to accommodate the Client’s schedule when rescheduling appointments.
